Antifoam FD20PK
Uses:
-Reduction of foaming in the kettle
-Reduction of foaming in the fermenter
-Reduction of foaming in cleaning processes
Antifoam FD20PK is a concentrated silicone based emulsion which has been developed for brewing and distilling where a quick knockdown of foam is required. It can be added to the kettle, still or fermentation vessel or in cleaning processes where foam reduction is desirable.
Correct Antifoam FD20PK use actually improves final beer foam. It is classed as a processing aid, as it does not carry over to the final product with standard beer processing and usage rates.
Dose at 3-4 drops of concentrated antifoam per 19-25 litre batch beer. For improved efficiency you can dilute Antifoam FD20PK with water before use at the approximate rate of one part antifoam to 9 nine parts water.
Benefits:
-Available in easy-to-use emulsion from

-Provides better control of spirit distillation
-Prevents loss of hop bittering substances
-Improves Alpha-acid utilisation
-Prevents expensive wort losses and unhygienic spillages
-Increases fermentation capacity
