CITRA HOPS
VACUUM PACKAGED IN A RESEALABLE BAG
Citra is a big, modern hop, tremendously popular in the craft- and home-brewing markets. It has fairly high alpha acids but also the heavy oil weight typical of modern hop varieties, making it surprisingly good bang for your buck. Generally utilised in IPAs and other hoppy beers both big and small, with its best use as a late hop or for dry-hopping. The name Citra obviously derives from the explosion of citrusy flavours this hop can produce.
Aroma notes: Grapefruit, melon, lime, gooseberry, passionfruit, lychee, mango. If you can name a fruity flavour, it’s probably in here somewhere.
