Phosphoric Acid
85% strength food grade phosphoric acid in a 100ml dropper bottle for ease of use in adjusting the pH of water used in brewing. Only a few drops are required to lower the pH of water used in home brew volumes and phosphoric acid has the advantage of being completely taste and aroma neutral. Desirable mash results are achieved when mash pH levels are between 5.2 and 5.6. Sparging results are also improved when sparge water is slightly acidic.
